"Chicken" Life: It is the name of the function that makes your hero open a TP and return to town immediately when below 30% life.

Configuring the Window
The default windowed mode does not capture your mouse (does not lock it inside the window) and has a border; see how to change it.
Step 1: Go to the game installation folder
(usually C:\Diablo II\Diablo II Evolution)
Step 2: Open the file ddraw.ini in Notepad
Step 3: Scroll to the end of the file, after the line ; D2Evo
Step 4: Change the line devmode=true to devmode=false
Done, this will capture the mouse inside the window.
To release the mouse, hold Alt and press Tab
To remove the border, change the line border=true to border=false
