The Griswold's Demon Bits, Dice and Rotary can be dropped and are also found at the NPCs that repair items: Charsi, Fara, Hralti, Halbu and Larzuk;

Opening Sockets

If you use a bit higher than the possible number of sockets for the item, it will work and give the maximum possible, for example, if you use a bit 6 on a 4-socket armor, it will create 4 sockets;

Attention: Do not use it on items that already have runes or gems inserted, they will disappear! For that, use the Repair for Rune Words
